1 onion chopped
2 tablespoons oil
2 cups cooked chick peas
1 green pepper chopped
1 package 'Daksha's Gourmet Spices' Chana Masala Mix
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup water
3 teaspoons brown sugar
Chopped cilantro for granish (optional)


1. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add onions and saute.
2. Add cooked chick peas, chopped green peppers, Chana Massala Curry Mix, salt, tomato sauce and water. Stir well.
3. Cover and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Add brown sugar and cook for a further 5 to 10 minutes. Stir well.

Garnish with chopped cilantro. Server over a be of basmati rice with Naan, Rotis or Puris.
